Right on the banks of Doloo river, lies the Bamboo forest campsite that allows you to nest in beautiful camping tents that have been set up just for your visit
Wake up to the adventure of staying in the lap of nature at its nascent best!
The ever changing, gurgling river is a stones throw away and the bamboo trees canopy is full of chirping birdlife, giving you company.
There are two options of staying in the Bamboo Forest Eco campsite.
1. Rough it out in the camping tents –
You have a choice of 1, 2 member camps or a family camp
@ Rs 1950 per person per night (inclusive of taxes and activities).
2. Get even closer to the nature, spend a night in a raw Bamboo cottage –
You have to be minimum 2 adults to be up close and personal to nature in one of our three cottages
@ Rs 2450 per person per night (inclusive of taxes and activities).
Nothing screams authenticity more than the unfolding day, when you are offered your first tea, made in freshly cut bamboo hollow, over an open stove.
Experience relaxation setting in, with every breath of fresh air and every call of the Hoolock gibbon that you hear in the distance..
Our forest is very special and we take pride in it. This is an invitation to come and explore the unique ecosystem with us.
Do's and Dont's.
a. No food inside the tent. No shoes inside the tent.
b. This ‘Borail campsite’ is a NO smoking area. Forest can catch fire. Smoke, ( if you have to) by the riverside.
c. You are in a safe forest. There are people to look after you. Do Not explore after dark.
d. While exploring our forest, always be accompanied by our local guide.
e. Do not enter water area without our guides.
f. Please respect the customs and traditions of the local community.
g. Music if played should be on low volume. LOW Noise also.
h. LEAVE THE CAMPSITE BETTER THAN IT WAS WHEN YOU ARRIVED.
